Description: Purpose To support modular projects through timely control of welding procedures and qualification Qualification Member of Welding Institute Welding Diploma (minimum technician level) Experience Familiarity with offshore structures and standards Knowledge of BSEN and ASME welding standards Knowledge of QMS, Quality Control Inspection and general project control mechanisms Duties Determine and develop production welding procedures, with associated WPQR’s and Welder qualifications to appropriate codes/requirements Monitor performance of welding operations in production Develop productivity and quality improvements for production Liaise with clients and certifying authorities Writing clear concise reports Perform the duties of a welding co-ordinator as defined in BSEN739. Any other duties deemed necessary to the successful completion and handover of project.
