Description: Our client offers a diverse portfolio of engineering support services and products to the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets throughout the world. Their oil and gas centre in Aberdeen is an established provider of a range of risk based integrity services that support and enhance asset operation and maintenance. The company has a vacancy for a Trainee/CAD Operator in Aberdeen on contract basis Job Responsibilities: Generate and maintain inspection drawings and technical illustrations for project teams. Prepare and maintain other graphic illustrations as required e.g. organigrams, floorcharts etc, Maintain drawing register (MS Access) and document revision control. Provide quality assurance of own and other produced drawings and documents. Job Requirements: Standard grades including English, Mathematics and Technical Drawing. Basic CAD training would be desirable and also relevant oil and gas industry technical experience. Candidates will also need good communication skills, including technical report writing; the ability to work to tight deadlines, adaptability and good attention to detail. Rate: starting from £15 per hour (depending on experience)
