HYDRAULICS ENGINEER Worldwide Experience: Rig Mechanic on Semi Submersible rigs Qualification: Time-served Engineer Responsibilities: Must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow crew members. Kongsberg Simrad SVC / Vessel control system or similar. RESPONSIBILITIES: Will include but are not limited to: Must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow crew members. Assist Supervisor in identifying jobs which may require a risk assessment. Responsible for the maintenance of all electronic systems on the vessel. These include dynamic positioning, vessel control system, drilling systems, mud processing and blow out preventer control systems. Will keep the OIM, Barge Master and Senior DP Watchkeepers full informed on matters affecting the DP system and will not undertake any work on the system without prior consultation and receipt of approval to conduct such work. This escecially applies whilst the vessel is in any for of DP mode. Driller Worldwide Qualification: Must be in possession of a valid Well Control BOP Certificate. Must be fully committed to working safely and be responsible for the safe working practices of the crew. Fully committed to preventing damage to the environment and work in accordance with Stena Drilling H S& E policy and procedures. Ensure full implementation of STOP system and participate in daily STOP audits. Ensure crew understands the STOP system and participates in this system. Identifying jobs which may require risk assessment and crew participate. Hold weekly safety meetings for drill crew and that drilling crew have appropriate safety training. Ensure that the drill floor crew keep a clean and clear place of work. Perform drilling operations, check and supervise all drilling equipment. Monitor the well for any abnormal conditions. Organise and increase the efficiency of drill floor personnel. Check drilling programmes and calculations supplied by Operator. Ensure compliance with permit to work systems. Participate in the Stena Drilling Competence Assurance Scheme. Mechanic Worldwide, UK Qualifications: 4th class motor certificate of competency or recognised qualification in mechanical engineering. Experience: Rig mechanic on semi submersible units or drillships. Responsibilities: Undertake duties as allocatedby Chief Engineer/Chief Mechanic, undertake operational maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment throughout the rig. Perform watchkeeping duties, advise on spare gear requirements. Electrician Worldwide, UK, Norway Qualifications: Time served electrician or qualification in electrical engineering. Experience: Experience on semi submersible rigs or seagoing vessels. Responsibilities: Ensure that complete electrical safety is achieved, monitor power consumption and distribution according to requirements and complying with PTW isolation systems, carry out electrical isolations, ensure new electrical installations are connected in proper manner and that equipment is suited to its location. Subsea Engineer Worldwide Qualifications: Valid EWCF BOP certificate - Driller level. Experience: Served an engineering apprenticeship plus substantial offshore experience. Responsibilities: Supervise the proper operation, erection, maintenance, testing and disconnection of the subsea blow-out preventer and related equipment. Maintain and repair heave compensating equipment, supervise the running and retirieving of all subsea tools, prepare BOP test reports, keep Senior Toolpusher informed of conditions within his area of responsibility. Rig Safety Officer Worldwide, UK Qualifications: Industry recognised qualification (e.g. NEBOSH) Duties: Assist and monitor the implementation of the safety management system and to offer advice to the rig management and crew. Support OIM in Safety Committee meetings as requested. Participate in all accident, incident investigations, carry out daily safety STOP audits, monitor COSHH procedures, promote the need to adopt safe working practices at all times. Storeman Worldwide Qualifications: Requisition, data experience, computer knowledge. Experience: Storeman offshore. Duties: Distribution of parts upon demand by heads of departments or supervisors. Produce, transmit requisitions which have been approved by heads of department according to the company procedures. Ensuring the preparation of shipping documents for equipment going ashore, manifest, materials transfer, repair, return orders and equipment data sheet. Ensure store areas are well maintained. OIM Worldwide Qualifications: Master Mariner with class 1 deck/Master Foreign Going Qualification and Certification. Experience: Must have been in a senior post on an installation. Duties: Committed to working safely and responsible for safe working practices of the crew. Ensure efficient and effective implementation of STOP for supervisors and employees. Identify jobs which may require a risk assessment. Ensure 3rd party equipment received offshore is accompanied by correct documentation and is inspected by a competent person before and after installation. Responsible for day to day management of the installation and in charge of health, safety and welfare of persons on it. Command and control of the installation in an emergency. Enforce permit to work system. Keep heads of dpt advised of changes to legislation. Senior Toolpusher Worldwide DUTIES:Must be fully commited to working safely and responsible for the safe working practices of the crew. Ensure full implementation of the STOP system as instructed by the OIM. Assist the OIM in identifying jobs which may require a risk assesment. Control of all work concerning the drilling operation. Ensure installation has adequate supplies for drilling and maintenance of drilling equipment. Plan the progress of drilling operation, check programmesa nd calculations supplied by the operator. Supervise the running of all subsea equipment. Control budget within his area of responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid IWCF BOP Certificate. EXPERIENCE: Considerable experience as a Toolpusher on a drilling rig. Roughneck UK/Worldwide EXPERIENCE: Must have experience of working in a Roustabout role. DUTIES Ensure full understanding of the STOP system and full participation in the system. Assist Supervisor in identifying jobs which may require a risk assessment. Participate along with Supervisor in risk assessments. Inform the Driller, Assistant Driller regarding unusual/unsafe situations within his area of work. If there are 4 Roughnecks on a crew, each Roughneck will be required to take the position of "4th Roughneck" on a rota basis. Carry out work on the drill floor as required. Perform simple maintenance work on the drilling equipment and on the drill floor. Carry out work in the Shaker room and simple maintenance of all equipment used for mechanical cleaning of mud. Perform daily cleaning and clearing up on the drill floor and in the shale shaker room etc. Carry out daily inspections of the derrick structure. Lubricate drilling equipment as instructed by supervisor. Take and record mud weights and viscosity whilst working in the shale shakers. Motorman UK EXPERIENCE: Previous offshore experience in a similiar role DUTIES: Must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsiblity for the safety of fellow crew members. Ensure full understanding and participation of STOP system. Carry out maintenance work and cleaning duties within machinery spaces to Chief Engineers/Mechanics instructions. Greasing, lubrication and maintenance of machinery. Carry out ER painting programme as directed by the Chief Engineer. Assist Mechanics as required. General watchkeeping within machinery spaces. Advise the Chief Engineer of spare gear requirements. Report any faults to Chief Engineer.
