Assistant Driller |

QUALIFICATIONS: Valid IWCF BOP Certificate Driller Level. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as Derrickman RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be fully committed to working safely and be responsible for the safe working practices of the crew. Ensure full implementation of the STOP system, to include the careful monitoring of the crew and the taking part in daily STOP audits as instructed by the OIM. Ensure that drilling operations performed under his supervision are in compliance with current safety regulations. To be responsible for ensuring Floormen are correctly deployed for ongoing operations and familiar with the equipment in use on the drill floor and its safe operation. Inspect threads, coupling, and sealing faces on all equipment, which will be run in the hole. Supervise all the drilling technical equipment and the mechanical cleaning equipment for drilling mud and perform simple maintenance work. |

ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN |

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree or HND in electronics or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Onboard DP vessels / BOP MUX control systems. Kongsberg Simrad SVC / Vessel control system or similar. RESPONSIBILITIES: Will include but are not limited to: Must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow crew members. Assist Supervisor in identifying jobs which may require a risk assessment. Responsible for the maintenance of all electronic systems on the vessel. These include dynamic positioning, vessel control system, drilling systems, mud processing and blow out preventer control systems. Will keep the OIM, Barge Master and Senior DP Watchkeepers full informed on matters affecting the DP system and will not undertake any work on the system without prior consultation and receipt of approval to conduct such work. This escecially applies whilst the vessel is in any for of DP mode. |

Fully committed to preventing damage to the environment and work in accordance with Stena Drilling H S& E policy and procedures. Ensure full implementation of STOP system and participate in daily STOP audits. Ensure crew understands the STOP system and participates in this system. Identifying jobs which may require risk assessment and crew participate. Hold weekly safety meetings for drill crew and that drilling crew have appropriate safety training. Ensure that the drill floor crew keep a clean and clear place of work. Perform drilling operations, check and supervise all drilling equipment. Monitor the well for any abnormal conditions. Organise and increase the efficiency of drill floor personnel. Check drilling programmes and calculations supplied by Operator. Ensure compliance with permit to work systems. Participate in the Stena Drilling Competence Assurance Scheme. |

EXPERIENCE: Must have experience of working in a Roustabout role. DUTIES Ensure full understanding of the STOP system and full participation in the system. Assist Supervisor in identifying jobs which may require a risk assessment. Participate along with Supervisor in risk assessments. Inform the Driller, Assistant Driller regarding unusual/unsafe situations within his area of work. If there are 4 Roughnecks on a crew, each Roughneck will be required to take the position of "4th Roughneck" on a rota basis. Carry out work on the drill floor as required. Perform simple maintenance work on the drilling equipment and on the drill floor. Carry out work in the Shaker room and simple maintenance of all equipment used for mechanical cleaning of mud. Perform daily cleaning and clearing up on the drill floor and in the shale shaker room etc. Carry out daily inspections of the derrick structure. Lubricate drilling equipment as instructed by supervisor. Take and record mud weights and viscosity whilst working in the shale shakers. |
