Job description
Supervise and coordinate early site Construction activities such as site preparation, surveys, site establishment etc… Management of the Site Construction Supervision Team, and control of onshore Contractor activities.
�Report to Project Upgrade Construction Manager.
�Co-ordination within project Upgrade Supervision Team.
�Assistance to the Construction Manager. -
MAIN ACTIVITIES :
�Assist the Project Management Team to ensure compliance with client and project upgrade safety objectives throughout life of the Project.
�To manage the Site Construction Supervision Team, in order to achieve a proper control of all CONTRACTOR’s activities and work for all areas and disciplines,
�To assess the seriousness and urgency of possible problems encountered by or with CONTRACTOR, and, when necessary, to obtain an acceptable remedial actions plan from CONTRACTOR,
� To assess the relevancy of the construction related VORs issued by CONTRACTOR, and prepare supporting
data for the purpose of the internal VOR Review Meeting, under the responsibility of the Construction Manager,
�To prepare and participate to the Weekly, Monthly and, when concerned, ad-hoc meetings with CONTRACTOR,
� To maintain good relationships with CONTRACTORS,
� Keep informed the Construction Manager of all events which may affect the successful completion of the Project goals,
� To follow any interface questions between CONTRACTOR and other Contractors on site and to co-ordinate with the relevant project upgrade supervisory team members in that respect to minimize possible impact on or disruption of the work,
� To co-ordinate the activities of the various task force Supervisors, and clarify the interfaces between their respective scopes of responsibilities when and as required,
� Assist the Construction Manager to co-ordinate the project Upgrade Site Commissioning, Site Quality Control, Site Safety, Site Engineering and Site Services as required,
� Application of client policies, rules, procedure and General Specification (GS)
HSE focused Requirements Excellent engineering and similar role experience for major oil and gas project necessary.
