Our client offers a diverse portfolio of engineering support services and products to the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets throughout the world. The oil and gas centre in Aberdeen is an established provider of a range of risk based integrity services that support and enhance asset operation and maintenance.

They are currently looking for an Integrity Team Leader with a background in offshore integrity management. Main responsibilities are to provide day to day management to deliver an effective commercial service for external clients where the parameters are not well defined and to determine solutions where previous experience does not provide any precedent.

You will review, analyse and make recommendations based on the results generated from offshore activities. Perform assessments for integrity against the relevant legislation and industry standards in a proactive manner and where an anomaly does not immediately compromise asset integrity, provision shall be made for monitoring its deterioration. It will be your responsibility to liaise with Offshore Inspection Engineers and NDT personnel on a regular basis, also acting as focal point for communications with client onshore facilities engineering. You will have a duty to cascade information to other members of the project team and other LR projects.

You will issue integrity statements and manage project databases. You will also ensure that project activities are performed in accordance with the Health, safety and environmental policy. You will also hold regular quality and safety briefings with offshore personnel and third party contractors.

To be considered you should have a degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline. You will also need a wide breadth and depth of knowledge within the petrochemical, inspection or engineering industry with proven skills in project management and be an effective verbal and written communicator. In depth knowledge of pressure vessel and pipework design and inspection codes of practice is required. A Chartered/European Engineer would be an advantage, as would commercial and financial awareness.
