Pipeline Engineers
PIPELINE ENGINEERS NEEDED WITH OIL AND GAS EXPERIENCE BOTH ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE DISCIPLINES ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT CONTRACTS EXPERIENCE GULF OF MEXICO EXPERIENCE ONSHORE AND/OR OFFSHORE DESIGN EXPERIENCE INTERCONNECT PROJECTS FOR PIPELINE PIPELINE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE A PLUS Pay based on experience. REQUIREMENTS PIPELINE ENGINEERS IN THE OIL AND GAS EXPERIENCE - ALL DISCIPLINES AND LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE
· 5-10 years Working Experience .Has experience working on permitting and design phases of onshore and/or offshore pipeline projects.
· Has experience with state, local and county permitting issues, mapping, pipeline alignments, line sizing, and / or designing pipeline interconnects, pipeline road crossings and pipeline water crossings.
· Has experience with specifying and evaluating line pipe, valve, hot tap fitting and pipe fitting requirements to ensure they are in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
· Has experience working onshore and offshore pipeline projects from permitting and design phases through the commissioning phase.
· Has experience with FERC permitting requirements, mapping, pipeline alignments, line sizing, and or designing pipeline interconnects, pipeline road crossings and pipeline water crossings.
· Should be familiar with ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8 and API 1104 codes.
· Applicant must have worked in an engineering office environment.
· Good Communication and Organizational Skills.
· Self Motivated.
· Affluent with Microsoft Office.
· Must have worked in the upstream and / or midstream oil and gas industry.

Offshore Pipeline Engineer

5+ years of experience required
Duties: -Business development, client management/interaction and projects management;
-Take part in sales and marketing and develop positive client relations;
-Certification and verification: The client rules and other industrial standards and codes form the basis for client certification and verification activities. Client objective is to assist end client to achieve successful pipeline design/manufacturing/fabrication/installation. The work is typically carried out as independent FE analyses and document review in close co-operation with experienced personnel. Both follow up of manufacturing/fabrication at site and offshore installation is a part of the work. This gives good opportunities for accelerated learning. Some of the large projects may also include offshore work; -Consultancy and Research & Development: Client is actively involved in large international R&D projects. This often includes presentation and profiling at international conferences. Furthermore, client has the ambition to be the prime technical advisor and provider of risk management for demanding pipeline projects; -Advanced pipeline analysis; -Pipelines in Operation: Client sees an increasing demand for services covering the operational phase for pipelines, related to Pipeline Integrity Management (PIM). Clients foresees very challenging tasks ahead for futher development and execution of services. Client is developing state-of-the-art software and methodology used for pipeline integrity management and risk based inspection planning.

Qualifications:
-Engineering degree within Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology, Materials Technology or Offshore Engineering;

Lead Pipeline Engineers - Onshore
Purpose: Support, execute and complete the engineering design of an assigned project. Needs minimal guidance on any phase of project design.
Experience:
• 6 + years of experience in engineering.
• Knowledge of computer systems in an engineering environment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer preferred.

Essential Functions:
• Experience in Onshore Pipeline design in either domestic or international markets.
• Hands-on design experience of oil and gas pipelines including route selection, river and water body crossings, hydraulic calculations and modeling experience utilizing both transient and steady state modeling techniques, road crossing design, compressor and meter station interconnect design, alignment sheet preparation, and hydro-test requirements. Familiar with pipe stress analysis.
• Perform ROW and workspace design, and assist in the permitting process.
• Perform detail design, material selection and specification; mainline block valves; scraper traps.
• Responsible for engineering oversight of all pipeline related work products (calculations, design, specifications, etc).
• Develop cost effective, conceptual designs for both grassroots and modifications to existing pipeline facilities.
• Provide system capacity and optimization analyses for oil and gas pipeline systems; develop cost effective, conceptual designs for both proposed and existing pipeline facilities.
• Assist in the development (review and comment) of Project pipeline specifications, and in the development and implementation of organizational processes and procedures.
• Assure compliance with approved processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including ASME, API and DOT.
• Operational experience with compressors and pipeline systems, and water-body crossings experience a plus.
• Installation cost estimating; some exposure to metering systems; other pipeline related peripherals.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PE registration preferred.

Cross Country Pipeline Design Engineers - Dallas, Houston and Tulsa
1. Good working knowledge of pipeline design utilizing Federal Safety Regulations Part 192, 193, 194 and 195.
2. Good working knowledge of pipeline design utilizing ASME B3.8.
3. Class Location Study or design – utilizing a sliding mile criterion.
4. Design Main Line valve spacing.
5. Design Hydrostatic test section breaks or lengths.
6. MAOP, Pipe Wall Thickness and Pipe Grade Design – as required per class locations.
7. Design of construction foot print for pipelines.
8. Design site specific dwgs or plans (i.e. road crossings, rail road crossings, judicial drainage ditches)
9. Design creek and river crossings.
10. Design of Horizontal Directional Drills (HDD) including proper radius, pipe stress limits, and the construction foot print associated with the drill site and pull string.
11. Working knowledge of FERC construction footprint design requirements (i.e. wetland and upland techniques).
12. Design of conceptual and detailed design of meter stations, separation, regulation and orderization facilities.
13. Ability to create material specifications, data sheets and material lists.
14. A strong willingness to perform Q/A on dwgs and calculations of other engineers, drafters or Mappers.
15. A competent pipeline engineer would have an understanding of civil survey as it pertains to the design of pipelines or related facilities.
16. A competent pipeline engineer does not have to have 20 years experience but 5-6 years of design experience will allow this individual to perform the engineering tasks required. Need Jr. Engineers as well as the more experienced Engineers, a P.E. is a plus but not required.
