Our client is North America's leading fully integrated midstream construction and production service provider to the energy and resource industries. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, their services extend from the wellhead to the processing plant and from oil sands to natural gas with a full range of integrated midstream production services to North America's energy and resource industries.
They now require a Construction Manager to be based near Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the Owner’s Construction Management Team (CMT)
- Supporting front end planning
- Hiring the Construction Management Team
- Implementing the Construction Execution Plan
- Supporting the Project manager on front end plans
- Working with the PM on contracting strategy and scope of work
- Planning, organizing, and directing the activities with area superintendents
- Providing supervision of multiple crafts on site
The following skills and qualifications are required: Post graduate degree in an appropriate field of focus, PMI and AACE, CET Certification, PMI training, Cost Engineering (American Association of Cost Engineering), Cost Estimating and Scheduling, Training and Design or Field Experience, 10+ years experience, Proficient in Primavera scheduling, Knowledge of budgets, progress and performance, change management and estimating. Excellent knowledge of industrial construction disciplines and execution of same. Strong management and interpersonal skills Strong belief in the safety of all personnel is a must. Strong focus on support of quality objectives.

Anyone experience anything about the easy google profit kit? I discovered a lot of advertisements around it. I also found a site that is supposedly a review of the program, but the whole thing seems kind of sketchy to me. However, the cost is low so I’m going to go ahead and try it out, unless any of you have experience with this system first hand?
