Our Client offers a diverse portfolio of services providing engineering and technical services to the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets throughout the world. Due to expected future project requirements they are currently looking for Rotating Equipment Engineers at both Senior and Junior Engineer Levels to work on assignments in the UK and Overseas The Role This will be an opportunity to join a global engineering and construction contractor in the Oil & Gas and Power Equipment markets. The Senior/Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer will involve interface with Client, Contractor and Supplier Engineers. Candidates should be Degree qualified with experience primarily in a contracting environment with process compressors, steam turbines and other rotating equipment. Experience with special purpose rotating machinery in major Petrochemical, Oil & Gas (including LNG) and/or Refinery projects is required for the more senior roles whilst the junior roles will require experience / demonstration of aptitude in this area TECHNICAL AND ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS 5 years plus with 15 years of application experience with compressors, gas turbines and pumps for the Senior Roles CEng. or BSc Degree in Engineering (or equivalent). This is predominantly a design and application role and candidates must demonstrate significant expertise and/or aptitude in this area Work is principally on an LNG Project Active participant in professional societies desirable and encouraged To start - ASAP Duration - Ongoing requirement This position is open to both contract and permanent staff Ames ref 3395 Location - UK / Overseas Salary / Rate Negotiable subject to experience
