Description:
Duties / Responsibilities:
-Provide specialist skills, integrity and knowledge in key areas of pipeline discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice
-Understand clients' needs; identify and address design parameters and problems; develop and implements solutions
-Under own or limited supervision, independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work
-Undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to DO, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various third party submissions
-Approve and issues technical documentation, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy -Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed
-Train / mentor more junior engineers Presentation:

-Good oral and written communications
-Skilled in using advanced Engineering software ( Orcaflex, Riflex, Abaqus etc) -Good organisational skills and smart working methods and a team player
-Produces work of presentable quality
-Rigid pipeline installation analysis by reel-lay and j-lay -Pipeline Design -Finite Element Analysis -PLET Design -Deepwater SURF projects

Qualifications / Experience:
-University graduate in a relevant discipline at MSc level
-Chartered/Licensed status preferred for senior positions
-Can articulate learning and training experiences
-Experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably within the company Industry
-Familiarity with recognised industry engineering software, experience of working with rigid pipelines and risers
-Ability to prioritise and organise work
