The (Pipeline) Pre-Commissioning Engineer will: coordinate, plan and control development of procedures and equipment specifications and subcontracting services related to pre-commissioning requirements execute or arrange correct execution of pre-commissioning management of pre-commissioning subcontractors informing the Project Manager on progress, problem areas maintaining, developing and effectively applying his pre-commissioning know-how as well as transferring this within the discipline in-house coordination between relevant disciplines or departments for the project arrange adequate project filing technical liaison with client technical liaison with subcontractors project reporting (budget, progress and technical) provide engineering support during offshore execution close-out reporting delegated tasks from Project Manager / Engineering Manager assist in finding opportunities for extra work specific assigned discipline or department tasks Responsibilities completion of pre-commissioning within defined project budget and schedule improving the level of knowledge of the discipline specialist areas fitness for purpose" of project deliverables (meet client specifications and HMC requirements) optimum project communication (shared responsibility with Project Manager) optimum interface with client (shared responsibility with Project Manager) technical project feedback to the organisation adequate engineering support during offshore execution Requirements Training and Educational Level • bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline or comparable level • trained in all aspects of pre-commissioning • developed communication and interfacing skills in technical and non-technical peer group Experience
