Description: Our Client is a leading global engineering company and has accumulated experience gained from over 20,000 projects performed in approximately 70 countries worldwide. They have already carried out numerous base-load LNG plant projects in the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle-East and West Africa and now hold more than a 40 % market share of LNG plant projects. Drawing on our clients extensive experience through the design and construction of and studies of LPG/LNG plants, as well as two LPG FPSOs, our client has become a pioneer in cryogenic FPSO’s. Due to extensive growth our client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Cost Engineer for a major project at their state of the art headquarters in Japan. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing Management's strategies regarding cost engineering of the FLNG facilities particularly in respect to the Company’s commercial position towards the client, Accuracy, consistency, completeness, cost forecasts, confidentiality of data, Audit ability and traceability of estimates. In addition, responsible for the day-to-day planning, cost control, cost forecasts and cost engineering data management. Knowledge/Experience or Equivalent • The leadership qualities to lead, delegate tasks and organize the team. • The willingness to take responsibility and make decisions at appropriate times. • The ability to operate in a proactive manner. • Work experience in cost estimation and cost control for Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas facilities. • Experience in Gas FPSO, LPG FPSO is desirable.
