Description:
We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specification. Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Supervisor for a Hydrocarbons project. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Procurement system knowledge and practice, Computer skills, English language is essential. Preferably 3-5 years, depending on the individual, plus relevant prior experience and previous job assignments and training with 2 to 4 years oil and gas project experience. JOB SCOPE: • Overseeing and monitoring Procurement activities and progress. • Evaluation of Material Requisitions content prior to preparation of Request for Quotation to approved suppliers. • Evaluation of Material Requisitions content and associated Approved Budget Value prior to preparation of Request for Quotation to approved suppliers. • Clarification of commercial requirements relating to tender preparation relating to Quality Assurance, Vendor Appraisal, Bid Evaluation, Delivery Programming, Payment Conditions, Performance Guarantees, Contract Documentation, Expediting, Inspection, Packing, Transportation, Incoterms, Warranties, required to be fulfilled by nominated suppliers in line with Client’s Kazakhstan LLP Procurement Procedures and guidelines. • Commercial bid evaluation of submitted supplier quotations. • Review and clarification of Purchase Orders and associated Frame Agreements for required content prior to commitment to chosen supplier. • Supervision, guidance and monitoring of Procurement Assistants, buyers and Expeditors with regards to daily duties relating to daily operations of the Procurement Group namely creation and issue of RFQ’s to potential vendors, maintenance and duly updating of PO Via procurement specialists Add register on a daily basis, data input and PO preparation in Marian, preparation of complete documentation package for PO submission to Procurement Manager for his review and approval, issue of POs and PO revisions to vendor and PO circulation/distribution, preparation Weekly Status Report for pending MR’s. Formulating and issue of Project monthly and weekly reports. • Responsible for monitoring, tracking and weekly reporting of all Requests for Quotations and Purchase Orders and associated Frame Agreements involving suppliers in close liaison with Procurement Specialists. Monitor manufacturing and delivery progress, to provide usable material tracking information for all end users of deliverables required Client operations and Projects. • Supervision of maintenance relating to all internal filing systems relating to all Procurement activities. • Constant training and evaluation of National staff on Supply Chain Management. Salary: Highly competitive – this client will pay going market salary so do let us know what salary would attract.
