Project Manager

Scope of Responsibility :
The Project Manager will report to the Thai Technical Division Manager and will be responsible for the delivery, implementation and support of Newman & Esser’s piston compressor systems throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The Project Manager will be tasked with carrying out project implementation and operational support on a number of ongoing projects, ensuring projects are delivered to the correct budget and time constraints whilst maintaining our client’s high standard of excellence throughout the whole process. The Project Manager will be required to assist with the sourcing and coordination of local and overseas suppliers and will be expected to ensure that the quality of implementation is maintained to the customer’s satisfaction, whilst coordinating with the commercial team and accounting for all pre-defined commercial terms of each project. In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for the management and supervision of a project team, providing technical expertise and operational support and defining appropriate manpower plans for projects whilst serving as the customer’s contact point in the areas of service and training.

Qualifications :
This position would suit a mature person who has a minimum of 10 years practical experience working in an international project team and preferably has experience within the petrochemical or oil and gas industries. The successful candidate will be qualified to at least degree level and must be highly computer literate, have a good level of English, be highly flexible, outgoing and possess proven managerial and organisational skills.
