Description: PROJECT SUBCONTRACTS ENGINEER – PERMANENT – HANTS We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specification and are able to work within the EU/UK. Our Client, Major Oil and Gas contractor is seeking a Project Subcontracts Engineer. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: The knowledge required is normally obtained through a recognised Engineering or Commercial Degree or specialised courses and/or training in subcontract administration. Alternatively experience leading to a thorough knowledge and understanding as described above may be acceptable Depending on the level of experience of the Subcontracts Engineer it is to be ascertained by the Subcontracts Manager as to the level of autonomy allowed in work avities. Other Matters: The ideal candidate must be willing to travel extensively and be able to undertake long term assisgnments overseas, including Saudi Arabia JOB SCOPE: Client serves the chemicals and polymers, refining and onshore oil & gas industries. It provides the full life cycle of a project from concept studies, through to design, engineering, project management, delivery of process technologies, procurement, construction and maintenance services. As a pure project execution/EPC specialist, Client can provide customers with strategic 'one-off' services or full turnkey solutions under a single project management control. It works with its customers in the development of major technological innovations, having participated in the conceptualisation and implementation of ideas, which are the foundation for world-class production facilities. Project Subcontracts Engineer Roles & Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Project Subcontracts Engineer shall include, but not be limited to the following: Aids in the preparation of subcontract packages. Prepares subcontract bid tabulations including sensitivity studies. Organises and maintains for each subcontract a complete file of all pre-contract corresp
