ONSHORE COST CONTROL COORDINATOR – DIRECT HIRE – KAZAKHSTAN We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specification. Our Client, Major Oil and Gas contractor is seeking an Onshore Cost Control Coordinator to join their team.. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: The job holder must have an engineering or technical degree, and be chartered Engineer or equivalent with not less than 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry, and not less than 10 years of experience in cost control. Prior experience with a similar complex project is beneficial Required Competencies: The job holder must have proven: Familiar with both Project and Corporate cost & budgeting procedures. Knowledge of computer based tools, e.g. Microsoft suite e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Familiar with cost probabilistic and associated software. Ability to initiate and promote the discipline of cost & budgeting with other engineering/operations departments. Ability to prepare cost & budget plans to ensure that the cost tools are capable of meeting the company's business needs. Ability to create/update cost & budget control methods and procedures to reflect the latest engineering and Project Execution philosophies. Familiar with Contract Control and Reporting requirements. JOB SCOPE: To carry out and coordinate all Cost Control activities for the EP Onshore Project Accountabilities and Responsibilities: The job holder is responsible for: Developing and maintaining cost control methodologies and procedures Analysing, planning and coordinating the cost control activities Managing and controlling the department budgets working closely with the budget holder Assisting the budget holder in the writing of CTR’s for the budget process Produce a monthly cost report and feed for inclusion into Project reports Produce and maintain trend data to support all changes Provide VOWD on a monthly basis Provide cash calls on a rolling 3 month basis Carry out audits of contr
